Milk Powder importers’ Association says that prices of imported milk powder will be reduced with effect from today (1).
Accordingly, price of 1kg pack of imported milk powder will be reduced by Rs. 200 and the price of a 400g pack will be reduced by Rs. 80.
Meanwhile, the distribution of eggs imported from India to bakeries and restaurants is currently underway.
President of the PHI’s Union Upul Rohana stated that nothing has been identified so far to prove that these eggs are harmful to public health.
Meanwhile, producers have been allowed to sell vegetables, fruits and other agricultural products on the roadsides starting from today till the 18th April. (NewsWire)
