Ananda College Colombo has emerged overall winners at the Junior National Rowing Championship for the second consecutive year.
The 38th Senior, Intermediate and Junior National Rowing Championship, organized by the Amateur Rowing Association of Sri Lanka was held from March 29 to April 1 at the Diyawanna Rowing Centre.
Ananda College emerged as the overall Junior National Rowing Champions by winning gold in seven out of the 10 events. They also added two silver medals and one bronze medal to their tally.
The rowers also set an all-time record in the Under 18 Quadruple Scull Event by clocking 6:41 minutes.
