Three underaged children from the Wennappuwa area have been reported missing since New Year’s Day, it was reported.
According to Daily News, two of the children aged 15 years and one aged 14 years are friends and residents of the Dummalagedara and Jayaveedi Mawatha areas in Wennappuwa.
The Wennappuwa Police have launched an extensive investigation to find the missing children.
Preliminary investigations have revealed that the children are students of the same school.
Reports have also revealed that they are in possession of mobile phones and the Police are tracking their mobile numbers to find the missing children. (NewsWire)
