Electricity prices will be reviewed and revised by July 2023, Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera stated.
Taking to Twitter, Minister Wijesekera stated that the electricity tariff will be reviewed and revised keeping in line with the Government’s Policy.
He further stated that it is also in adherence to the Cabinet decision taken in December 2022, to implement a cost-reflective pricing mechanism and to review and revise electricity prices biannually in January and July of every year. (NewsWire)
