A Chinese national has died after falling off the 08th floor of a building in Union Place, Colombo.
According to Lankadeepa, the deceased has been identified as a 24-year-old man employed as an Assistant Engineer at a building which was under construction.
The Police stated that the man had fallen off the building at around 05.00 pm yesterday (04) while engaging in inspection work.
The Chinese national who had sustained serious injuries due to the fall had died while being admitted to the Colombo National Hospital. (NewsWire)
