World Tourism Forum Institute explores SL’s tourism potential

The President of the World Tourism Forum Institute, Bulut Bağcı, and Sri Lanka’s Minister of Tourism and Lands Harin Fernando have held discussions on the remarkable tourism potential and promising foreign direct investment opportunities in the country. 

According to a statement from the World Tourism Forum Institute, the meeting aimed to explore ways of fostering sustainable growth and development in Sri Lanka’s tourism sector while enhancing its position in the global market.

During the meeting, Bağcı commended the government’s efforts in promoting Sri Lanka as a world-class tourist destination and acknowledged the significant strides made in recent years. He highlighted the importance of strategic partnerships and collaborative initiatives to maximize the country’s tourism potential and attract more international visitors.

Both Bağcı and Minister Fernando engaged in a comprehensive dialogue on various aspects of Sri Lanka’s tourism industry, including infrastructure development, marketing strategies, and investment incentives.
