The time limit pertaining to the conclusion of musical shows has been amended as per an order of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka.
Minister of Tourism Harin Fernando stated that the time limit has been changed as per the court order issued on a Fundamental Rights (FR) case.
Taking to Twitter, Minister Fernando stated that the original time limit to end the musical shows at 10 pm has been extended.
He said the amended time limit is as follows:
* Fridays and Saturdays – 1.00 AM
* Sundays -12.30 AM
Minister Harin Fernando added that, however, a reasonable distance should be kept between the venue/ musical shows and hospitals and religious places. (NewsWire)
