Showers are expected in several parts of Sri Lanka today, the Department of Meteorology stated.
Showers will occur at times in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts.
Several spells of showers will occur in the North-western province and in the Kandy and Nuwara-Eliya districts.
Showers or thundershowers may occur at several places in the Uva and Northern provinces and in the Ampara and Batticaloa districts during the evening or night.
Fairly strong winds of about 40-45 kmph can be expected at times in the Western slopes of the central hills, North-central province and in Puttalam, Hambantota and Trincomalee districts. (NewsWire)
