The All-Island Canteen Owners’ Association has announced a 10% reduction in the prices of fried rice and Kottu, effective from today, July 05. Asela Sampath, the president of the association, stated during a press briefing that the price of a packet of Kottu, previously priced at Rs. 700, would now be reduced by Rs. 70.
Similarly, the price of a Rs. 1000 Kottu will be decreased by Rs. 100.
This price reduction of fried rice and Kottu follows Litro Gas Lanka’s recent announcement of its fourth consecutive price slash this year. (NewsWire)
