State Minister of Tourism Diana Gamage has requested Police to take necessary actions to remove an audio clip of her abusing a man over the phone.
In a letter addressed to Director of the Cyber crimes investigation division, The State Minister’s media secretary has requested Police to take necessary steps to remove the clip being circulated in social media.
The letter further states that an individual named Shan Ganegoda had repeatedly troubled the state minister over the phone on Wednesday(5). When the State Minister’s security officer had called back the individual to inquire into the matter, an argument ensued between the two parties.
During this conversation, State Minister Diana Gamage loses her temper and allegedly scolds the man in foul language.
Since the audit clip being circulated in social media is now causing disrepute to the State Minister, her office requests the police to take immediate actions to remove the said clip from being circulated. (NewsWire)
