A bus from Polonnaruwa to Kaththankudy collides on the Kotaleeya bridge at Manampitiya and topples into the river.
10 individuals have died in the accident according to area reporters.
“Death toll rises to 10 with 40 injured from Polonnaruwa-Kattankudi bus plunging into river at Manampitiya” Polonnaruwa Hospital said.
