Fuel quotas will be further increased next month after evaluation, Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera announced today.
Taking to Twitter, Minister Wijesekera said that the fuel cargo plan and supply for the next 6 months was reviewed with the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC).
“Fuel import plans, refinery operations, refinery upgrade proposals, QR quotas, storage capacity, stock automaton, agreements with fuel stations, and distribution were reviewed and discussed,” he added. (NewsWire)
