An increase has been reported in gold prices in Sri Lanka today (August 08), according to local gold merchants.
Accordingly, the price of a 22-karat sovereign has increased from last week’s rate of Rs. 157,000 to Rs. 161,000 today.
Meanwhile, the price of a 24-karat gold sovereign has also increased from last week’s rate of Rs. 172,000 to Rs. 175,000. (NewsWire)
