A group of women and a man have been arrested for allegedly vandalizing property at the Lotus Tower in Colombo yesterday (Aug. 09).
According to video footage, the women are seen writing on the rim of the outdoor observation deck.
The group was taken into custody by the Maradana Police after being notified by the Colombo Lotus Tower Management Company.
Several warnings have been issued by the Colombo Lotus Tower Management Company of stringent punishment being enforced against those found to be causing damages to the property.
However, the Company stated that despite the warnings, there has been an increase in incidents of vandalism in the recent past. (NewsWire)
