An individual has been injured after being shot at in the Lellama area in Negombo today.
The Police stated that two men on a motorcycle had opened fire at the victim injuring him.
The injured individual has been admitted to the Negombo Hospital. The victim has been identified as a 25-year-old resident of Pitapana.
The cause of the shooting is unknown and the Dhungalpitiya Police is conducting investigations into the incident. (NewsWire)
