Snake sightings have become common during the Lanka Premier League (LPL) matches in Sri Lanka.
The past several LPL games have seen snakes crossing the field during playtime.
In one such incident reported yesterday, Sri Lankan cricketer Isuru Udana almost stepped on a snake while focussing on fielding.
The incident occurred during the LPL match between B-Love Kandy and Jaffna KIngs at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo yesterday.
The LPL snake sightings have made rounds in the cricketing sphere, with Indian commentator Dinesh Karthik commenting on a recent incident where play was temporarily stopped, stating “The naagin is back. I thought it was in Bangladesh.” (NewsWire)
