An 18-hour water cut will be imposed in several parts of the Colombo District on Saturday (Aug.19), the National Water Supply and Drainage Board stated.
According to the water board, the water cut is being implemented due to maintenance work on the overhead power line system of the Electricity Board.
The water supply will be disrupted from 08.00 am on Saturday (Aug.19) until 2.00 am on Sunday (Aug.20).
Thereby, water supply will be disrupted to the Colombo, Dehiwala, Mount Lavinia, Kotte, Kaduwela, Maharagama, Boralesgamuwa, Kollonawa, Kotikawatte areas, and the Mulleriyawa, Ratmalana, and Katubedda Pradeshiya Sabha areas during this period. (NewsWire)
