Due to active of South West Monsoon conditions over the island, there is a possibility of enhancing the prevailing showery condition in south-western part of the Island.
Heavy showers, above 100 mm are likely at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa and Southern provinces.
General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
