The 2023 GCE Advanced Level Examinations will be held in November as scheduled, the Ministry of Education announced today.
Issuing a statement, the Ministry said that 323,913 applications have been received so far for the examination scheduled to be held from November 27 to December 21.
Providing reasons for the examination to be held in November, the Education Ministry pointed out that a key reason was the failure by teachers and lecturers to engage in paper marking on time which has resulted in a delay in issuing the results of the previous examination.
The Education Ministry further stated that the results of the 2022 GCE Advanced Level Examinations will be issued in the next few days.
Following the release of the results, students willing to resit the exams for the second or third time will be permitted to do so by following the procedure at the Department of Examinations, the Ministry added. (NewsWire)
