The Sri Lankan Rupee has depreciated slightly against the US Dollar today (Sep 08) compared to yesterday, the Central Bank of Sri Lanka reported.
Accordingly, the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 316.27 to Rs. 316.71, while the selling rate has dropped from Rs. 328.06 to Rs. 327.99.
The Rupee has appreciated against a basket of foreign currencies, while it has depreciated against the Australian Dollar, Swiss Franc, and Gulf currencies. (NewsWire)
