The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) has denied media reports that Chinese Engineers are hired to work in the Norochcholai Power plan.
Issuing a statement, the CEB has categorically denied the media reports and reiterates that only local engineers are recruited for the power plant.
It also says that 19 candidates have been selected out of around 400 applications received for local engineering vacancies in the power plant and the process is ongoing to get the approval for their recruitment. (NewsWire)
