Top Sri Lankan businessman Dilith Jayaweera has entered politics by being appointed as the leader of the Mawbima Janatha Party.
According to the Election Commission website’s newly updated registered political party list, Dilith Jayaweera has been named as the party leader of the Mawbima Janatha Party which will contest elections under the Aeroplane symbol.
The Sunday Lankadeepa had reported yesterday that a leading businessman is planning to contest the upcoming presidential election. (NewsWire)
