Milk powder import tax increased

Nalin Fernando, the Minister of Trade, revealed that import tax (PAL) on powdered milk has been increased by 10% per kilogram, effective immediately.

However, Minister assures that this tax hike would not lead to an increase in the prices of milk powder.
