An individual has been injured in a shooting reported in Wellampitiya today (Oct 09).
The Police stated that the shooting had occurred in the Brandiyawatte area in Wellampitiya.
The injured individual has been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital.
The Police stated that the cause for the shooting has not been ascertained as yet, while investigations have been launched into the incident. (NewsWire)
