Accordingly, fairly heavy showers above 50 mm can be expected at some places in the Uva, Eastern, Northern and North-Central provinces.

Misty conditions can be expected in the morning at some places in the Central, Sabaragamuwa and Uva provinces.
Meanwhile, showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the sea areas off the coast extending from Colombo to Matara via Galle.

Winds will be south-westerly and wind speed will be 20-30 kmph.
