The overall rate of inflation, as measured by the National Consumer Price Index (NCPI), fell to 0.8% in September 2023, according to the latest report by the Department of Census and Statistics.
The overall rate of inflation reported for September 2023 is a drop from the 2.1% reported in August 2023.
As per the latest report, food inflation in September 2023 has increased to -5.2 from the -5.4 recorded in August this year.
Meanwhile, Non-Food Inflation has dipped to 5.9% in September 2023, in comparison to the 9% reported in August.
