Police have sought public support to apprehend a female suspect, with regard to investigations on a counterfeit money circulation racket.
The Police said that the woman is wanted by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) on fake notes circulation related charges and there is a case against the woman in the Ratnapura high court.
The suspect has provided incorrect information during the ongoing investigations under a fake identity, the police further said in a statement.
The CID has now sought public support to apprehend the suspect and request the general public to provide any information on the whereabouts of the suspect.
