A protest has been staged in front of the US Embassy in Colombo today (Nov 24), in support of Palestine.
The Police stated that the protest was being staged by civil activists against Israel’s siege on Palestine.
According to Lankadeepa, the Police have reportedly detained five persons who had engaged in the protest.
Heavy security, including the Police Special Task Force, has been deployed outside the US Embassy due to the protest. (NewsWire)
