Temporarily strong gusty winds and very rough seas can be expected during thundershowers.
- Flood warnings:
The Irrigation Department has issued flood warnings due to the rise in the water levels of the Nilwala, Walawe, and Attanagalu Oya Rivers. Accordingly, flood warnings have been issued to the Thalgahagoda area due to the rise in the water levels of the Nilwala River, the Moraketiya area due to a rise in the water levels of the Walawe River, and the Dunamale area due to a rise in the water levels of the Attanagalu Oya.
