Sri Lankan youth will be allowed to enter Japan under the Special Skilled Worker visa category for employment in the construction field, Minister of Labour and Foreign Employment Manusha Nanayakkara said.
The minister said that the Special Skilled Worker visa will be issued subject to Japanese language proficiency and passing the relevant exam.
Minister Nanayakkara further said that the program will be effective from today (Dec 01). (NewsWire)
