A shooting incident was reported inside a nightclub in Kiribathgoda early this morning (Dec 18), the Police said.
According to the Police Media Unit, the shooting was reported at a nightclub located inside a hotel on Gala Junction in Kiribathgoda.
The Police said unidentified persons who had arrived in a vehicle had fired shots inside and outside the nightclub.
No injuries or casualties have been reported in the shooting carried out at around 02.00 am.
The Police added that the shooting had been carried out over a private dispute. (NewsWire)
