Mainly fair weather will prevail in most parts of Sri Lanka today, according to the Department of Meteorology.
However, a few showers may occur in the Eastern, Uva and Central provinces.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North Western provinces and the Galle and Matara districts in the morning.
Meanwhile, mainly fair weather will prevail in the sea areas around the island except few showers in the sea areas from Matara to Trincomalee via Pottuvil.
Winds will be north-easterly and wind speed will be 20-30 kmph. The sea areas around the island will be slight. (NewsWire)
