Member of Parliament Nimal Lanza says that a new alliance will be formed by the union of most number of MPs representing the most number of political parties in the Parliament.
He mentioned this at the first public rally held on Saturday (27) of the new alliance in Jaela.
The rally was held yesterday in Jaela town announcing the creation of a new alliance reportedly in support of President Ranil Wickramasinghe in the upcoming presidential election.
MP Nimal Lanza is the founder of the alliance and Mr. Anura Priyadarshana Yapa is the operational leader of the alliance.
Minister Nalin Fernando, Minister Susil Premajayantha and MP Priyankara Jayaratne were among other politicians who joined this rally. (NewsWire)
