Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka has slammed Opposition and Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) leader MP Sajith Premadasa on his move to accept former Army Commander, Retired General Daya Ratnayake’s support.
Retired General Daya Ratnayake, who worked in key positions during the tenure of former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, joined forces with the Samagi Jana Balawegaya this week.
Commenting on the matter, Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka revealed that Daya Ratnayake had played a key part in his imprisonment under the tenure of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
Stating that Daya Ratnayake was former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa’s confidante, MP Sarath Fonseka further said that the SJB might as well join hands with the former President.
