Sri Lanka’s Official Reserve Assets have increased by 2.3% to USD 4,491 million in January 2024, the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) reported today.
According to the Central Bank, it is an increase from the USD 4,392 million recorded in December 2023.
This includes a swap facility from the People’s Bank of China, equivalent to around USD 1.4 billion, which is subject to conditionalities on usability, it added. (NewsWire)
