The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated slightly against the US Dollar in commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (Feb 12), compared to last Friday.
According to Peoples Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 307.69 to Rs. 307.44 and from Rs. 318.41 to Rs. 318.16, respectively.
At Commercial Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has dropped from Rs. 307.24 to Rs. 306.50 and the selling rate has also dropped from Rs. 317.25 to Rs. 316.50.
Meanwhile, at Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar remain unchanged at Rs. 308 and Rs. 317, respectively. (NewsWire)
