CCTV footage has been released to the media of the shooting that took place during the robbery of a store at the Meegoda Economic Centre early this morning.
Two gunmen, who had arrived on a motorcycle, had assaulted a worker at the store and had later shot a 23-year-old woman employed as a cashier.
The suspects had thereafter, stolen the money at the store and had fled the scene on their motorcycle.
The injured woman was admitted to the Homagama Hospital following the incident.
