The police say that 783 traffic offenders have been identified through CCTV footage in Colombo city during 1st 15 days of this month.
Police Media Spokesman DIG Nihal Talduwa said that about 300 police stations have been informed to take necessary action against the relevant offenders.
DIG Nihal Talduwa has further said that about 26,000 cases related to drunken driving have been reported in 2023. (NewsWire)
