A suspect has been arrested over the shooting and attempted murder of a person in Ananda Rajakaruna Mawatha in Borella.
Officers from the Colombo South Division Criminal Investigations unit have apprehended the rider of the bike involved in the incident from the Sedawatta area on Friday (Mar 1).
Police said that following further investigations, the bike used in the crime was found in dismantled state.
The arrested suspect is a 22-year-old resident of Wellampitiya. Borella police are conducting further investigations. (NewsWire)
