Three persons were reported dead in an accident at the Bolugolla Junction in Pothuhera along the Colombo – Kurunegala main road last night.
The Police said the accident occurred when a three-wheeler and a lorry transporting vegetables had collided head-on.
Four individuals travelling in the three-wheeler had been admitted to the Kurunegala Hospital with serious injuries, during which three had succumbed to injuries.
The driver of the lorry has been arrested in connection with the accident. (NewsWire)
