Mainly dry weather will prevail in most areas of Sri Lanka today, according to the Department of Meteorology.
Showers may occur at a few places in the Southern province and the Ratnapura and Kalutara districts in the evening or night.
Misty conditions can also be expected at some places in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and Galle and Matara districts during the morning.
Meanwhile, mainly fair weather will prevail in the sea areas around the island.
Winds will be Northerly to North-easterly. wind speed will be 20-30 kmph.
