National People’s Power (NPP) Leader MP Anura Kumara Dissanayake met with Canadian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Eric Walsh at the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) Office in Colombo today (Mar 13).
According to the NPP, Second Secretary (Political) of the Canadian High Commission Patrick Pickering and JVP Executive Member MP Vijitha Herath also participated in the discussion.
The two parties discussed the current socioeconomic and political status in Sri Lanka, while they also held an intense discussion on the NPP’s policies to build national unity.
The NPP Leader’s upcoming visit to Canada to meet the Sri Lankan community in the country was also taken up for discussion, with the Canadian High Commissioner extending his wishes in this regard to MP Anura Kumara Dissanayake. (NewsWire)
