The final rites of the late former UNP Parliamentarian Palitha Thewarapperuma will be held at 02.00 pm tomorrow (Apr 19) at his residence in Yatadholawatte, Mathugama.
According to family sources, the late politician will be laid to rest at the grave that was built by him at his residence while he was alive.
The body of the late politician was brought to his residence yesterday and will be kept at the house until this Friday afternoon.
The family sources said that he will be laid to rest after conducting religious observances on Friday.
Palitha Thewarapperuma passed away on Tuesday (Apr 16) after being electrocuted while working in his estate. He was 64 years old at the time of his demise. (Newswire)
