Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central,Uva and North-western provinces and in Galle and Matara districts after 2.00 p.m.
Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in North-central and Northern provinces during the afternoon or night.
Showers or thundershowers will occur over the coastal areas of Puttalam to Galle via Colombo during the morning too.
Fairly heavy showers about 75 mm are likely at some places in Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Galle and Matara districts.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Sabaragamuwa, Central and Uva provinces and in Ampara district during the morning.
General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
