President Ranil Wickremesinghe will attend two public rallies tomorrow (May 01) to commemorate Labour Day.
According to the President’s Media Division (PMD), the President will first attend the Ceylon Workers’ Congress (CWC) rally at the Kotagala Public Stadium starting at 10:00 am.
The President will thereafter attend the UNP May Day rally planned to be held opposite the Maligawatte Police Station at 2.00 pm.
A musical show featuring local and Indian artists has also been planned following the UNP May Day Rally.
Minister Harin Fernando invited all political parties members holding May Day rallies to attend the musical show which is being held to honour Sri Lankan workers.
Minister Fernando said the musical show, commencing at 07.00 pm, has been organized to provide an enjoyable night for the hard-working people of Sri Lanka. (Newswire)
