The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated against the US Dollar at commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (May 02) compared to Tuesday.
According to Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 291.25 to Rs. 290.90 and from Rs. 301.75 to Rs. 301.40, respectively.
At NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has dropped from Rs. 291.50 to Rs. 290, while the selling rate has also dropped from Rs. 302.50 to Rs. 301.
According to Peoples Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 292.57 to Rs. 291.20 and from Rs. 302.48 to Rs. 301.06, respectively.
At Commercial Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has dropped from Rs. 291.74 to Rs. 290.58 and the selling rate has also dropped from Rs. 301 to Rs. 300.25.
Meanwhile, at Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 293.50 to Rs. 293 and from Rs. 302.50 to Rs. 302, respectively. (Newswire)
