Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) announced a significant increase in match fees for players, particularly in the Test format.
Winning a Test match now comes with a doubled fee of US$15,000, while draws and losses will get US$12,500 and US$10,000 respectively for a player.
This move aims to incentivize players and reinvigorate Test cricket.
Sri Lanka will play a three match away Test series against England in August followed by tests against New Zealand and South Africa this year (NewsWire)
