A Committee of Inquiry has been appointed to investigate the actions of the State Intelligence Service (SIS), Chief of National Intelligence (CNI), and other authorities regarding prior intelligence received on the Easter Sunday terror attacks.
President Ranil Wickremesinghe appointed the committee, which is led by retired Judge Ms. A.N.J. De Alwis, the President’s Media Division (PMD) said.
The committee’s findings are due by September 15, 2024, the PMD stated.
