Wrestler John Cena announces retirement from WWE

U.S. wrestling star John Cena has announced his retirement from competing in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) events.

At the Money In The Bank event in Toronto, Canada, the 47-year-old revealed that his final appearances will be at the Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas in 2025.

Cena, who joined WWE in 2001 when it was known as WWF, has been performing part-time since 2018. He has achieved a record 16 world championships during his career.

Cena is widely regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers in WWE history.
