A prison officer was arrested today in Rajagiriya by the Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB), uncovering a stash of illegal items.
The officer was found in possession of heroin, ICE, a T56 weapon, and 350 rounds of ammunition.
Additionally, a micro pistol, 50 rounds of 9mm ammunition, and 8 rounds of 5.56 ammunition were seized during the operation.
The suspect is currently in custody, and further investigations are underway to determine the extent of their involvement in illegal activities.
